It all started with a weekend trip home, a scallion pancake, and a couple with a shared voracious appetite. Out of desperation at the breakfast table, Jose extemporaneously transformed traditional Chinese ingredients, crafting what he called a baleada—a Honduran staple—using a scallion pancake instead of a flour tortilla, and fermented bean sauce for refried beans. It was love at first bite and the beginning of Aidomi.
Aidomi is the brainchild of Linna Li and Chef Jose Nunez. They founded Aidomi with the vision of creating a space that would attract a broad range of people, where one would enjoy high-quality food in a cozy yet refined setting. The menu is a reflection of their collective life experiences, resulting in a nontraditional celebration of Chinese and Latin-inspired dishes. Currently, you can try Aidomi via local delivery and pick up.
