Aidomi showcases the versatility and comfort of Chinese and Latin cuisine. The name originates from the Chinese word for love, ‘ai,’ and the Latin root ‘domi,’ for at home. At Aidomi, Linna and Jose combine their family culinary traditions with their own distinctive techniques and flavors into each creation.
OUR STORY
A Philadelphia native, Linna spent much of her childhood obsessively baking for any and every one, sowing the seeds for her future passion. While studying at Cornell University, she found her interest for restaurant operations after a rigorous internship with Hillstone Restaurant Group. Following graduation, she joined Sushi Nozawa (SUGARFISH and KazuNori) and oversaw New York City operations as Regional Manager by age 25, the company’s youngest and first female to hold the position. What has remained constant over her trajectory is her obsession for all things food, attention to the smallest details, and passion for developing great people.
Born and raised in Honduras, Jose has always been surrounded by food, from his mother’s baking affinity to his family’s holiday traditions. This exposure in his formative years naturally led him to pursue an education at Le Cordon Bleu Miami. With over eight years of culinary experience working in esteemed Miami restaurants, Jose moved to New York City in pursuit of new opportunities, landing him at Sushi Nozawa. There, he quickly rose through the ranks to become Regional Manager and oversaw all back-of-house operations.
